When we woke up, there was an elephant right out front of the lodge!Īfter our safari, we departed for the main event to climb Mt. It featured a stone exterior and beautiful wooden patios connecting all parts of the lodge with amazing views of the crater. It was amazing! We stayed at the Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, which was absolutely beautiful. Both places were absolutely beautiful and we were able to see all of Africa's Big Five! Our safari guide, Gilbert, was extremely knowledgeable about all the wildlife we encountered and we were able to get up close to lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, and so many other animals. From there, we left for a two day safari at Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater. We began our stay in Tanzania at a beautiful hotel in Moshi called Sal Salinero. Our group's experience with Mem tours was incredible.
